About Us
Our Mission
The A. Whitfield Legacy Foundation is a 501 c (3) federal tax exempt charity serving the benefit of organizations and individuals who serve children and teens in the state of California. We are dedicated to supporting organizations and individual families that provide educational support and developmental services for school-aged children, aged 3-22, who are developmentally delayed or economically disadvantaged. We raise funds through local and national efforts to ensure these children have access to necessary educational programming, leadership enrichment, and therapeutic services. Our mission is to bridge the resource gap in the educational system and alleviate financial hardships in homes to foster the growth and development of children and teens in California.
The Vision
The A. Whitfield Legacy Foundation envisions a world where every child and teen, regardless of their developmental or economic challenges, has equal access to quality education and developmental opportunities. We strive to create a future where all children are empowered to reach their full potential through robust support systems and enriched educational environments, ensuring they grow into capable and confident individuals
Our goal
- Our goal is two fold:
- Raising funds through local and national fundraising efforts, and soliciting donations
- Utilizing donations to support organizations who assist with the financial needs associated with educational programming, leadership enrichment and therapeutic services of school-aged children.
